The 2026 race season kicked off for me on March 7, 2026 in the hills around Solvang, California where light winds and blue skies made for a great spring-like day of riding. The Solvang Century offers three route options through iconic Southern California wine country. In order to maximize coverage of all riders, I focused my efforts on two locations where the routes overlapped.
